If you’re anything like I am, you day-dream (way too frequently) about all the breathtaking destinations you will visit one day in the near future. Sometimes, you may want a little visual inspiration:
Terlingua Ghost Town
On the random, I decided to finally (after many years of dreaming) visit Big Bend
National Park and make my way to West Texas. Driving from Houston, it’s an approximately 10 hour drive… did I mention I was doing this trip solo? No one to talk to for 10 hours which, honestly, was really nice. Now that I’ve “been there, done that” I thought I’d share what there is to do in this part of the (rural) world.

Coming from a family with an immigrant father and immigrant grandparents on my mother’s side, I grew up really knowing what it means to hustle. You’re constantly looking for new ways to make money, always plotting your next steps, always searching for that next side gig. It’s the “where there’s a will, there’s a way” mentality. You just have to make things happen… somehow.
